Morning loves!! This post was supposed to go live last Wednesday but I forgot to hit publish and was called in for jury duty so I never got around to posting it until now. I decided to ask Silly-Sister to do this post for me and was so exited when she said yes… take it away!
Before I had kids, I thought I could do it all. Be that mom who gets up and gets ready for the day before the kids. Meals would be healthy and the kids would always be clean. I thought they would be polite and well behaved at home and in public.
Of course that’s not how life is! It would be a great day if I get dressed before noon, breakfast (and almost every other meal) is always made while my toddler is pulling at my leg or getting into everything. Messes are made regularly and kids get dirty. I’m reminded every day that politeness and behavior is something I need to teach her by example.
My goals for motherhood are simply this. I hope that when my children grow up, they can look back to memories of us as a family and say that they wouldn’t want it any other way. I know I will make mistakes and there will be times that I’ll want to throw my hands up (cause let’s face it, it’s not easy). I know there is no better or more important job than being a mother. I hope my daughter and other kids to come will know every day just how much I love them.
