Before we get started I have to take a quick second to wish my Mama a happy birthday!!
Talking myself up isn’t something I’m good at. I also have a hard time deciding what y’all want to know when it comes to “About Me” pages. In an effort to help you get to know me better, and not stress myself out in the process, I’ve called on some of my blogging buddies. I’ve asked them a few questions, about me, and asked them to pull together a list of their favorite blog posts from this here blog.
This month I’ve got one of the most beautiful, sweet, kind-hearted women I know hanging out with me. I don’t remember who found who first, but we met for the first time about this time last year at the PNW Bloggers Meetup. We bonded over our dislike of the tea one of the vendors was serving. I even got yelled at by the lady as I was pouring out Britt’s cup of “very expensive tea”. In fact I think that’s when she told me she was pregnant with her sweet little girl! She drove an hour last summer to keep my busy while I impatiently waiting for my brother to return from his mission. We’re currently working on convincing her hubby that they need to take a trip back to the Spokane area around September. Gee I wonder why.
How you know me:
I don’t remember exactly how Kelly and I connected. I found her blog or she found mine or something, but however it happened, it was magical, because next thing I knew I was signing up for a PNW meet-up. And then when I met her in person, I loved her right away.
How would you describe me:
Kel is real, and down-to-earth, and funny, and you can tell right away she’s going to be a loyal friend. She’s pretty and spunky, and I just really love her.
Your favorite thing about me and/or my blog:
I just love the person she is. I’m such a cheeseball. I love how real and genuine her blog is, too.
Your least favorite thing about me and/or my blog:
That she doesn’t live by me. Funny story, when we first met I lived just outside of Spokane, and Kel was in Tri-Cities, which I think is about a 2 hours drive? (Kelly, you make this drive every week, so you can correct that, haha.) Anyway, then I ended up moving down to Pocatello and a few months later she moved to Spokane! I was so bummed that we missed out on living by each other. Her family lives about an hour north of me now, though, so I’m rooting that her and Ben move down here 🙂
Maybe it’s kind of weird, but I love Kelly’s posts that have to do with her divorce and past marriage. She is just so real and truthful in them. I also love her recap of the PNW meet-up because that’s when we first met and it was such a fun day!
