Monday morning I got a text from Brandi saying that “Baby” the monkey that I got JMan for Valentines day was missing an arm. JMan hadn’t gotten attached to anything since he was born but for some reason he is really attached to this monkey. He takes it with him almost everywhere he goes. I’m not going to lie, the fact that it was something I got him that he choose to get attached to makes me feel pretty darn good. So you can imagine how upset he was when their cat decided to rip off Baby’s already injured arm. I told her not to worry I’d get a hold of Dr. Sue (Dennis’ mom who sews really well) and see if we could get him an appointment to get it fixed. Naturally I got pulled into something else and forgot all about calling Sue until we were at Brandi’s later that night. I shot her a quick text saying we needed a vet appointment & she text me back saying they could get him in the next day.
1. Sitting in the waiting room waiting his turn (I actually sent this picture to Brandi to show JMan)
2. Getting his cast put on after “surgery”.
3. Baby with Sue after his “surgery”.
4. Sporting a cool new cast.
Normally people look at me like I’m crazy when I want to take pictures of random “silly” stuff like this but they were all really good sports about playing along. I’m assuming that it was because it was for one of the cutest three-year olds on the plant. I can’t wait till we have kids! My mom always made the littlest things a big deal and I can tell that I’m going to be the same way. Clearly!
10 points to Aunt Kelly for saving the day!!
